Assalamualaikum w.b.t
It's a new year.
Still it feels like last year. When I looked at the paper, the headlines are mostly about politics. It is sick to see mature people quarelling, not face to face. Trying to use power and sadly, religion.
No I'm not a supporter of any of them. Not to pro-government politic, yet not to pro-opposition politic. Yes, I'd rather support Amal Palestin, Mercy Malaysia, Aqsa Syarif, World Wildlife Fund and Maharaja Lawak Mega.
But somehow when they touched something really important to us, which is our religion, and choose to have a heated debate about it, that's embarassing. Tak membanggakan pun gaduh2 lagu tu.
Islam cakap, kalau nak settle satu masalah, bermesyuaratlah baik2, berhikmah, pilih org2 yang betul2 berilmu... jgn main cakap2, siar2... ini... nanti ramai org konfius..
But because it's election season, people get too emotional and can't think what's the best for our religion.. And if there's any solution, then please, choose the best way to explain. Our religion are not the same as theirs, it's the solid truth. But please say it with respect, with clear reasons to them. Don't confuse anyone.. Please don't create fire.
Still this is my own, personal opinion. Yes, we are not politicians. But it's our religion and it deserve to be treated rightfully.
